Hey guys. I bought my wife a new Galaxy Tab 10.1 and its great but the battery life is TERRIBLE! At first, we thought something was wrong with the Tab because it was draining the battery about 1% every couple minutes. She would play one game at 95% battery for about 10 minutes and the battery would now be at 45%. I went through it shutting off and disabling everything i could and the battery life improved greatly. The problem now is all this Samsung garbage starting up and killing the battery. We cant keep going in and turning this stuff off every time she turns the tablet on. So I would like to root it and use titanium Backup to remove all this bloatware thats killing her battery. I'm familiar with galaxy phone rooting but not tablets so I'm unsure if the process is basiclly the same.
It would be greatly appreciated if you guys could point me to a root methods for this, it has KitKat 4.4 on it, And maybe if you guys could be so kind as to point me in the direction of an app list for things that are safe to remove and not safe to remove? Thanks guys.:confused:
