[Q] Nexus 9 from Hong kong LTE not working on ATT topic

Hi,
I bought a Nexus 9 on Amazon, not realizing the vendor was in Hong kong. :( Now that it's here, I have an LTE SIM from ATT in it, and it will only connect 3G. Is there a band difference that is preventing 4G LTE?
