root malware??? topic

Ok, I have read these forums, for hours tonight. I am aware of the kingo root malware scandal, but not sure this is the same. I When I watch a port monitor on my phone, I see "root" connecting to IP addresses (such as this 23.235.46.184) or IP's that are close to it in number. such as 23.235.40.184. A quick "whois" of these IP addresses show them "Fastly" . http://www.tcpiputils.com/browse/ip-.../23.235.46.184 Am I root infected? Overly suspicious? If I am infected, what can I do? Reflash and reroot with another method? None of my antivirus or malwarebytes sees anything suspicious, but half of the domains on that ip are Chinese porn crap. Please don't rage on me. I have been reading for three hours and I'm at wits end.
