I've got a VS980 that I've flashed many ROM's on. I decided to try a Lollipop ROM (can't remember which one) and ran it for about a day and a half then the screen would not stay on. Every time I would hit the power button the screen would come on then go immediately off. Knock on doesn't work but knock off does. I figured it was the proximity sensor so I changed that out and still the same thing. So I flashed back to a KK ROM and the same issue continues.
Through many days and hours scouring the net, I found that this has happened to a few people and what they did was they KDZ'd back to stock and/or cleaned the inside of the screen in front of the proximity sensor and problem solved.
For some reason the KDZ wouldn't flash so I did the TOT way back to stock. Still the screen won't stay on. It'll only stay on if you hit the power button many many times or plug it in to charge. It also stays on in TWRP. Any help would be appreciated.
