The camera on the Galaxy S6 is beginning to look more and more impressive the more I see and hear about it. Detail seems really good, the photos aren't noisy at all and low light shots look better than previous Samsung phones. There looks to be a white balance issue in low light conditions but hopefully that's something they can sort out once it hits retail

[Q] Instant Fastboot mode when boot.img change topic

Hello friends. I'm using elife e7 and trying to build aosp 5 to it. when i try to boot my phone with new boot.img its going to fastboot mode immediatily. don even write logcat.

i said nevermind about new boot.img and opened and re pack the stock boot.img and its still going to fastboot mode.

i investigate almost every file in pphone. there is 3 or 4 file that i'm suspect of them. there is a secure_boot_check in sbin folder and bootprof file in proc folder.

disabled every file i saw but its still going fastboot.

note:its not about .img file's size. i have two different stock boot.img. two of them are booting and different sizes.

what do you think about this situation?

Using a android tv box as a bluetooth player topic

Hello,

I have a question with which you can help me. Can I use an android TV box (MiniX Neo X8) as a bluetooth receiver (like the Logitech's bluetooth audio adapter). Does it exist any app which let do that?
I currently have the Logitech adapter, which is a very easy and nice way to listen Spotify music from my smartphone, tablet and laptop. Lately, I have been thinking about buying an android box and it would be awesome if I can use it as a media player for the TV and as a bluetooth adapter. In this way, I wouldn't need to be switching the wire of the speakers from the android box to the bluetooth receiver.
In the other hand, is it possible to leave the android box switched on always?

[Q] [CM11] Can't find my Moto G via USB, ADB, Fastboot topic

Hello there,

I'm running CM11 20141223 NIGHTLY on my XT1033, and everything is working fine so far, with the exeception of USB communication. I develop my stuff on my desktop, which is running W7. Consider the following scenarios:

1) If I plug it in MTP mode (debugging deactivated), it won't find. Windows tries to install a USB Composite Device driver and fails.

2) If I plug it in PTP mode (debugging still deactivated), Windows installs a Moto G driver and access the DCIM camera folder normally (that's what I've been using to "push" files into it, and then move it with file manager with temp su access).

3) In both MTP and PTP mode, but with debugging activated, Windows detects it as a USB Composite Device. On Device Manager it shows up with the yellow triangle warning icon, but I can't seem to update it (tried with the extra Android drivers that comes with ADT).

4) Neither adb nor fastboot can detect the device. Which is weird because on my notebook, running windows 8.1, I got the same situation but adb (only, fastboot still can't) can detect it.

5) I also installed Koush universal ADB Drivers on both machines.

Does anyone have some insight on the matter? Should I get rid of Koush?
I don't intend on upgrading to CM12 anytime soon. In fact, I did it some weeks ago, but I'm more confortable with CM11 so I rolled back to it.

[Q] Bluetooth issue with Volvo S80 topic

I just got my hands on an HTC M8 but I'm having issues connecting it to my 2007 Volvo S80 through Bluetooth. It connects then disconnects immediately. I've tried to unpair then pair again the devices, restart the phone but nothing seems to be working
I've had no issue connecting a M7, Lumia 630 or iphone 4s.

Anyone know how I can solve this?

Just can't find correct full Tar HELP? topic

Long story short I've done this a million times even wrote a how to on how to update metro m919n to 4.4.2 back in the day before the m919n kit kat was released .
As crazy as it sounds now I can't figure the simplest of simple out.
So my situation is I'm using a Metro pcs s4 m919n literally same as m919.
I got it on 4.3 mk5
I rooted it before I updated to 4.4.4.
I decided I wanted 4.4.4 latest available but now NOT 1 single Odin tar I try works.
Fails at about 98% after system.img flashes.
I believe the problem is I'm not finding the correct Full Tar file . I know I can do one of two ways find the official Metro tar or use Tmobile tar But I can't seem to jump from 4.3 mk5 to 4.4.2 or 4.4.4
I've even removed .md5 which is noted to try .
I need the best solution /link or whatever to get to stock 4.3 so I can take the OTA.
Or just jump to 4.4.4 with Odin .
Anyone have a idea what I'm doing wrong or a credible correct Link to the right Odin 4.3 mk5 tar file or 4.4.4 tar?
Being metro m919n or m919.
Every one I find is a terafile link or rapid gator link full of SPAM.

Over Sharpened Photos in Gallery App topic

on my SM-G900F the Ambient Display is not working. When i get notification the notification light is blinking but the display is not waking up. So i have to double tap the display to wake.

[Urgent]All Apps...Gone! After updating CM12 topic

Ok here is the situation....

I soft-bricked my D802 after simply restarting the phone today (stuck on loading screen). Dunno how it happened but it did. Luckily, I thought, I had a recovery file from TWRP.....restored it....didn't work.

So I said, 'oh well, let's just update it anyway'. So I did a simple factory reset using TWRP, and installed the latest CM12.

Not I can get into the Android System, but all my apps....gone! I am pretty sure I didn't delete the files because when I look into the settings, the harddisk space is still taken up. Also, when the new CM12 initiated it said 98 apps upgrading. So I'm pretty sure the apps are there.

The problem is, all of them are now gone. What's worse, all GAPPS except Gmail are gone too. There is no way to do anything about it even after I reflashed GAPPS.

Desperately needing help.

I use it in Russian Federation.
It's S-off, unlocked.
From the first day there was no connection to the GPS satellites.
I found info about gps.conf and changed it to new for Russia, but didn't solve the problem.
GPS test and GPStest Mike lockwood show a few satellites, but not use it. (screenshot attached)
Could you help me or give any advice what to do?

Seriously annoying problem after lollipop upgrade topic

I have the HTC one m7,stock/unrooted. Im not sure if this problem is because of a bug or a setting that needs to be changed. When the screen is off I'm somehow able to turn the screen back on by pressing either volume button. This becomes annoying when I have it in my front pocket when I'm working and I take out my phone to check a message and see that the screen was on the whole time. Then when I double tap the home button to see my recent apps, I notice that random apps are open including the camera and sometimes it would call/text random people. If you are wandering how it is sitting while in my pocket, the power button is @ the top,so the only keys being pressed is the volume rocker. Before lollipop I never had this issue. I have already tried a factory reset (not a app issue) and clearing system cache to no avail. If anyone can give me a permanent solution to this problem I'd greatly appreciate it.

Hi everyone.
I have Link2SD installed and i have improved my memory space for data in ext2 partition.
Now I have 350mb available in my internal memory (/data) and 500 mb in system memory (/data/ext2).
The issue is that I can not install some apps, but others yes, even if they have much larger dimensions (e.g Google Apps).
I have change the path installation by Link2sd from internal to external, deactivated the same app (in conjuction with the Plus version) and reactivated but nothing good...
I have ViperSV 1.6.0 on board, and this is a restored version from backup. Earlier with the same rom, this apps were regularly installed on my sd card (moved not linked), but now, after I have restored my rom, I can not do the same thing. :(
In the meantime, however, other 14 apps are reguarly moved to the sd card and 51 are linked...
Please help me...

It's always like the original theme, then you should follow this steps:

• Download SQLite Editor (paid)


• Launch SQLite Editor


• Scroll down until you see Settings Storage (com.android.provider.settings)

• Click on Edit on top.


• Delete everything inside value.


• Click Save


• Reboot
